Our smallest feeder size.

How Do I Choose the Right Size?

The age of your animal isn't the only thing that matters. Two animals of the same species and age can be very different sizes.

A commonly used guideline for many reptiles is to choose a feeder insect that is no larger than the space between the animal's eyes.

When in doubt, choose the smaller feeder size.

Your animal can generally eat several appropriately sized smaller Dubias, while a feeder that is too large may be difficult for it to safely consume.

Remember — Dubias Are Live Animals

The measurements shown in our store are approximate size ranges.

Dubia roaches grow continuously and individual insects naturally vary in size. You may therefore receive some roaches slightly above or below the listed measurement.

We sort our Dubias to provide the most consistent sizing reasonably possible while working with live insects.
